Don't Miss This! The 5 Most Crucial AI Dropshipping Insights from Shopify's AMA.
How to use AI to Boost Sales for Dropshipping Store or Pick Products that actually Convert? What are the top 3 products to sell if starting a dropshipping store today, and how would AI help to choose and sell them? Integrating AI into Your Existing Shopify Store for non-tech people? Are there hidden costs or trust issues with ‘free AI store builders’ that offer custom .store domains — and who actually pays for the domain? Is it possible to find a winning product using AI and how? Q1: How to use AI to Boost Sales for Dropshipping Store or Pick Products that actually Convert? A: AI can significantly enhance your dropshipping store's performance by optimizing various aspects of your business. Here's how: Smarter Product Selection Trend Analysis: AI tools analyze data from platforms like TikTok, Meta, and others to identify products with high demand and engagement. Sales Validation: By examining sales data across multiple platforms, AI can help select products with consistent sales, avoiding those that are merely viral without actual conversions. Profitability Assessment: AI assists in evaluating profit margins by considering factors like product cost, selling price, and advertising expenses. Optimized Product Listings Content Generation: AI can craft compelling product descriptions tailored to your target audience, enhancing the appeal of your listings. A/B Testing: By testing different headlines, images, and price points, AI helps determine the most effective combinations to boost conversions. Enhanced Audience Targeting Customer Segmentation: AI analyzes customer behavior to build detailed profiles, enabling more precise targeting in your marketing campaigns. Predictive Analytics: By identifying patterns in customer data, AI predicts which users are most likely to make a purchase, allowing for focused marketing efforts. Personalized Retention Strategies Behavioral Triggers: AI monitors customer actions, such as cart abandonment or time spent on a page, to trigger personalized follow-up emails or discounts. Product Recommendations: Based on browsing and purchase history, AI suggests products that align with individual customer preferences, increasing the likelihood of repeat purchases. Picking products that truly convert - not just look trendy - is the key to sustainable success. Here's a simple, proven framework to choose high-performing products, with or without AI tools. Check for “Ad Signals” Products with tons of ads running (especially on TikTok, Meta) = high demand. Use ad spy tools or search TikTok keywords like “TikTok made me buy it” + your niche Look for ads with lots of engagement and recent posting dates Validate Sales Activity Use product research platforms that show: Estimated order volume across stores Number of stores currently selling that product Recent trend curve (spike or decline?) The goal: products with steady or growing sales, not just viral moments. Run a Margin Check Use this quick formula: Selling Price – Product Cost – Ads = Your Profit Avoid items with thin margins unless they’re super easy to sell or bundle. Look for “Desire Triggers” Ask: Why would someone stop scrolling to buy this? Problem-solving? Emotional pull? Trending aesthetic? Wow factor or giftable? If you can’t instantly answer “why this sells,” it might not convert well. Bonus: Using AI Tools If you want to skip the guesswork, some AI tools can: Show a product’s conversion potential score Track sales across platforms Suggest products based on your store/niche Q2: What are the top 3 products to sell if starting a dropshipping store today, and how would AI help to choose and sell them? A: Recommended 3 Product Categories: Home Decor & Furnishings An evergreen category with consistent demand, especially as people spend more time at home. Health & Wellness Increased consumer interest in self-care and preventative health products, particularly post-pandemic. Pet Supplies Significant growth in the pet industry as more people have welcomed pets into their homes. Across all these categories, you can leverage AI-powered tools to streamline and optimize dropshipping operations: 1. Product Sourcing & Curation AI-driven platforms can identify trending, high-quality products from reliable suppliers. Analyze customer data to recommend products with high sales potential. 2. Inventory Management AI-powered tools optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking. Automatically adjust prices based on market conditions to maximize profit margins. 3. Marketing & Advertising: AI-enabled chatbots and virtual assistants provide personalized customer support. Advanced analytics help refine advertising campaigns and identify the most effective channels. Q3: Integrating AI into Your Existing Shopify Store for non-tech people? A: Don't need to be a tech expert to leverage AI in your Shopify store. Here's a straightforward approach: Use Tools with AI Built-In: Instead of trying to “set up AI” from scratch, look for platforms that already embed AI features. These tools handle the complex backend — you just use the outputs (like product recommendations, supplier matching, or ad analysis). For example, in Zopi you can use AI Writing for product descriptions to optimize SEO and speed things up, saving time and focus for your operation Start With One Task: Pick one area to improve. AI also can do the best when focusing on one thing, instead of multi-tasking. For example: - Struggling with finding products? → Use AI for product research - Too many tabs open? → Use AI to summarize competitor data Let the AI Learn With You: Some AI tools get smarter as you use them. The more data you feed (like your niche, what products you like, how you price), the better they get at personalizing suggestions. Just simply talk and reply to them. Don’t Overthink: You don’t need to “code” or “train models.” Start small, test things out, and build comfort. The best part about AI today? It’s made for everyday users — not just developers. If you had your site up and running for a time and getting no hits or sales. In that case, my previous suggestions around integrating AI may not be the best place to start. Let's take a step back: Audit your store: Review your product pages, navigation, and overall design to ensure it provides a smooth, user-friendly experience. Make sure your branding, messaging, and value proposition are clear and compelling. Optimize for search engine visibility: Conduct keyword research to identify the terms your target customers are searching for and optimize your site's content, meta tags, and product descriptions for SEO. Enhance Marketing & Promotion: Develop a social media strategy to engage with potential customers. Experiment with paid advertising on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Google. Or you can think about reaching out to relevant influencers or bloggers for partnership opportunities. Focus on building an email list: Offer discounts in exchange for email signups and use email marketing to nurture relationships and drive repeat business. Q4: Are there hidden costs or trust issues with ‘free AI store builders’ that offer custom .store domains — and who actually pays for the domain? A: Offers like “Build your store for free with a custom domain” sound amazing, but here’s what’s usually happening behind the scenes: 1. Who Pays for the Custom Domain? Most of the time, the platform is fronting the cost - but only for the first year. After that, you’ll typically pay renewal fees (around $10–$20/year depending on the domain extension). Some platforms may also lock you into a paid plan after the trial to keep the domain active. 2. How Do Visitors Perceive These Domains? It depends: If it's a clean, branded “.com” or “.store” domain, most people won’t notice or care. But if it’s a weird or unfamiliar extension (like “.xyz” or “.online”), or the site feels cookie-cutter, it can come off less legit. First impressions matter - so design, content, and how well the site’s branded matters more than the domain name alone. 3. Any Hidden Costs? Yep, sometimes: Upsells for hosting, email, SSL, or apps Domain ownership restrictions - you might not fully own/control the domain unless you upgrade Platform lock-in — you might not be able to transfer the domain elsewhere easily Summary Yes, the platform likely covers the initial domain cost You’ll often pay later to keep it or unlock full control Visitors care more about trust signals than the domain itself Always check the fine print before signing up Q5: Is it possible to find a winning product using AI and how? A: AI can absolutely support you to find winning product ideas. Here's how: 1. Data-Driven Discovery Trend Spotting: AI scans platforms like Google Trends, TikTok, and Amazon to catch rising products before they blow up. Niche Detection: It identifies underserved markets by analyzing reviews, forums, and competitors. Feature Gaps: Compares similar products to spot areas where you can offer something better. 2. Customer Insights Sentiment Analysis: Reads reviews and comments to surface what buyers love (or hate). Market Research: Automates surveys and data collection on customer preferences. A/B Testing: Optimizes your product page by testing different images, prices, and descriptions. 3. Supplier Evaluation Reliable Partners: Analyzes supplier reviews, ratings, and stock levels. Inventory Alerts: Notifies you of stock changes or price spikes. 4. Risk + Forecasting IP Checks: Screens for trademark or copyright conflicts. Demand Forecasting: Predicts sales trends so you don’t over/understock. If you’re ready to try some AI tools hands-on, here’s a list based on the tasks we just talked about: For Product Research & Trend Spotting Google Trends + Exploding Topics – Free tools to spot rising search trends For Customer Insights & Testing NeuralText or Copy.ai – AI for writing product descriptions and ad copy VWO or Convert.com – A/B testing tools to experiment with landing pages Hotjar + AI-based analytics – See how users interact with your store For Supplier + Inventory Management Zopi/DSers / Spocket / AutoDS – Some have built-in supplier scoring and alerts Bonus: Predictive & Forecasting Tools Shopify Magic (native AI features) – Great for writing and insights ChatGPT – Surprisingly useful for brainstorming and validation Note that AI won’t guarantee success, but it gives you a massive edge by saving time, reducing guesswork, and backing your ideas with real data.

Want Better ROAS? Try This Facebook Ads Funnel Strategy
Hi @all in one 👋 If you're running Facebook Ads (or planning to), the smartest approach isn’t choosing between A/B testing or DPAs — it’s knowing when to use both. This is what top-performing dropshippers do: ✅ Use A/B testing to find winning angles 🔁 Use DPAs to retarget and convert visitors ⏱️ Use Zopi’s automation to keep it all running smoothly Let’s dive into the Hybrid Strategy that balances control, speed, and scale across the funnel: 🧠 Hybrid Facebook Ads Strategy — Stage by Stage 🔝 Top of Funnel (TOF): Attract Cold Audiences with A/B Testing 🎯 Goal: Drive quality traffic by finding the best creative, offer, and audience combo. ✅ Use Manual Ads (via Ads Manager): Test multiple ad creatives (videos, images, carousels) Try different hooks (problem-solving, emotional triggers, bold claims) Run split tests with different offers (Free Shipping vs. 20% Off) Target broad interests or Lookalike Audiences based on Pixel data 💡 Insight: Zopi users often start by A/B testing 2–3 creatives per product with $5–10/day per ad set for 3–5 days. You don’t need a huge budget — you need smart comparisons. 🟡 Middle of Funnel (MOF): Re-Engage with Product Highlights 🎯 Goal: Warm up visitors who didn’t convert yet but showed interest (clicked ad, viewed product page, added to cart). ✅ Use Manual Ads or Retargeting Sets: Run carousels or static ads focused on features, use cases, or testimonials Include social proof ("Over 10,000 happy customers") Offer urgency-based incentives ("Only 5 left!" or "Sale ends tonight") 💡 Tip: If you’re pushing products via Zopi to Meta Catalog, you can create a custom audience of "viewed but didn’t purchase" — then run tailored MOF ads. 🔁 Bottom of Funnel (BOF): Retarget Smart with Dynamic Product Ads (DPAs) 🎯 Goal: Convert warm traffic who already interacted with specific products. ✅ Use Zopi-synced DPAs: Automatically show the exact product each visitor viewed Real-time updates on price, stock, image — no manual changes needed Perfect for stores with 3–10 trending products rotating each week 💡 Why it works: DPAs do the heavy lifting. If a visitor viewed Product A, Facebook will automatically show them Product A again — even if you have 50+ items. 🧩 Why the Hybrid Funnel Works Stage Strategy Used Why It Matters Awareness Manual A/B Testing Find what grabs attention and gets clicks Consideration Manual Focused Ads Deepen understanding & highlight value Retargeting Dynamic Product Ads Remind, personalize, and convert with precision 🔄 Powered by Zopi + Meta Integration With Zopi’s Meta integration, you can: 🔗 Sync your Product Center to Meta Catalog in real-time 🔁 Keep all prices, stock, and images up-to-date automatically 🧠 Use automation to push products and save time on manual setup 📊 Combine performance data from Meta with your product-level insights in Zopi 💬 What’s YOUR Ad Funnel Setup? Do you use manual creatives all the way? DPAs only? Or both? 👇 Share your workflow — or even your campaign structure — and let’s help each other build stronger funnels that convert smarter, not harder 💪

📦 X2 ROAS with Catalog Ads
If you’re running a Shopify store with lots of products, multiple categories, or a decent amount of daily traffic, then Meta Catalog Ads might be your best move to scale efficiently. Let’s break it down. Catalog Ads automatically show your products to shoppers based on their behavior, browsing history, and interest signals — both on your site and across the Meta network. It’s like dropping your best products into their feed when they’re most likely to buy. But a heads-up: They’re not for everyone. They work best when your store is ready for automation — with multiple products, clear segmentation, and consistent pixel activity. When to Use Catalog Ads (and When Not To) ✅ Use Catalog Ads If: You sell multiple SKUs or product categories You have bundles, upsells, or collections to promote Your store has steady traffic or sales history ( at least 3,300 monthly visits and an active pixel) You're looking to scale retargeting or cross-sells efficiently 🚫 When to Hold Off You only sell one product with no upsells You’re just starting out with low traffic and no pixel data You rely heavily on long-form storytelling or offer testing In these early stages, focus on manual video or image ads to validate your product and collect valuable pixel signals. 🔧 How to Set Up Catalog with Zopi 🔻 Step 1: Connect Meta to Zopi Go to Zopi > Settings > Sales Channels and connect your Facebook account. This links Zopi directly with your Meta Business Manager and Product Catalog. 🔻 Step 2: Push Products to Meta Catalog From your Zopi Product Center, choose the products you want to advertise. Zopi will automatically sync: Product titles Prices Images Stock levels No spreadsheets, no feed errors — just seamless sync and go. 🎯 Smart Strategies for Catalog Ads 1. Start with Retargeting Use “View Content” or “Add to Cart” audiences (last 3–14 days) Show people the exact product they interacted with Add urgency with overlays like: “🔥 Only 3 Left” or “💥 Back in Stock” 2. Test Prospecting with Curated Sets Run to broad audiences Let Meta dynamically match products to buyer behavior Focus on low-ticket, impulse-friendly items for acquisition 3. Create Strategic Product Sets Best sellers Bundles or kits High AOV collections Seasonal promotions or new arrivals Don’t dump your entire catalog — curate for performance. 4. Upgrade the Visuals Use lifestyle images instead of plain flat-lays Add offer highlights in product names or overlays Create a branded, cohesive scroll experience Hope You Found This Helpful! If you’ve got any ideas, feedback, or want to share your experience with Meta ads or catalog strategies, feel free to drop a comment or DM me — I’d love to hear from you. Let me know what you’re working on, and I hope you’re walking away from this post with at least one solid takeaway to apply to your store. Until next time 👋

anyone else sick of writing product descriptions manually?
i’ve been bulk importing products into my Shopify store and the part that always kills me is writing/editing the titles, descriptions, meta, etc. for each one. It’s super repetitive and honestly, I’m not even good at writing stuff that sounds persuasive. Feels like half my time is spent staring at a blank product page wondering how to make “cotton T-shirt” sound exciting :)))) Anyone found a better way to handle this without outsourcing or using the same copy pasted junk?
